A clear path from salon enquiry to appointment

Front Desk and Scheduling for hair salons

Agentis’s starting offer is designed for established, owner-led hair salons with multiple providers and shared booking. Front Desk helps handle routine enquiries while Scheduling supports appointment choices that fit your services, team, and availability. Agree the supported phone and browser-chat workflows for your salon before adoption.

Common friction

Where phone demand leaks out

Questions arrive during service

Clients need opening hours, service information, and prices while your team is checking people in or working with a client.

The right booking needs context

A time slot alone is not enough. The service, suitable provider, client preferences, and salon’s operating rules all need to fit.

Some requests need a person

Unusual requests and policy exceptions need staff judgment, with the details captured so the client does not have to start over.

How Agentis is designed to help

A clear path from enquiry to resolution

Answer and clarify

Use your salon’s established information to answer routine questions. Clarify the requested service, preferred stylist, and timing before looking for an appointment.

Confirm before committing

Check genuine availability and obtain the required client confirmation before booking or changing an appointment. An offered time or an opened calendar is not a confirmed booking.

Record a staff follow-up

When a request falls outside agreed rules, record the context for staff follow-up. Acceptance of that request does not mean the issue is resolved or that a live transfer has occurred.

Outcomes to assess

Measure what improves for your salon

Establish a baseline for completed appointments and administrative time. A handled enquiry is not necessarily a booking, and a completed visit is not automatically additional revenue.

Outcome

Give routine enquiries a useful next step

Assess whether enquiries reach an appropriate booking or a clear handoff, and how much coordination the team still needs to do.

Depends on Salon information, service requirements, and operating rules

Outcome

Evaluate completed appointments

Compare fulfilled visits and administrative time with your salon’s baseline. A handled conversation or a demonstration booking does not establish additional revenue.

FAQ

Questions to resolve before adoption

What does a booking confirmation mean?

The client must approve the required details and the booking system must successfully commit the appointment. Asking for a slot, seeing availability, or opening a calendar is not a completed booking. Establish the supported confirmation workflow during onboarding.

When does staff need to take over?

Requests outside the salon’s service or operating rules, and decisions requiring human judgment, need staff follow-up. Agree who receives these requests and how they are resolved; immediate live transfer is not promised.

Can we keep our existing booking system?

Confirm supported scheduling tools and onboarding requirements in your sales demo. Agentis does not promise universal booking-system compatibility.

Does this include Pulse or automated retention?

Front Desk and Scheduling are the starting offer. Pulse is planned for customer access, and broader retention automation is a later capability. Confirm which staff follow-up and client rebooking workflows are supported for your salon.

How can I evaluate Agentis for my salon?

Try the Overlook Hair & Barber demonstration for service or opening-hours questions, then contact JLP to discuss your own services, booking rules, and setup. A salon appointment inside the demonstration is separate from requesting a Agentis sales demo.
